WCPDR MEMORIAL DAY FIELD OF REMEMBRANCE AND DEDICATION

Each Memorial Day, WCPDR receives donations for flags to be placed on the median on Manchester Avenue. Donations are $10 per flag and the flags can be dedicated to a particular serviceperson or may be placed generally. Our Field has grown from 120 flags the first year to over 500 flags in 2024. By 2025, our field had over 800 Flags. Contact us in the weeks before Memorial Day if you would like to donate flags. All money raised benefits a military organization. Over the last year, we have raised over raised $2,800 for The Foundation of Women Warriors. 

In addition to our Field of Remembrance, on Memorial Day, we host a dedication during which we remember all those who have died to ensure the protection of our country and democracy. Please join us on Memorial Day at 10:00 a.m. for this moving commemoration.
